THE FILIPINO IN ME
- Insights into Living Heritage

in celebration of
Philippine Heritage Month 2022

The Philippine Arts Council presents

"The Filipino in Me - Insights into Living Heritage" for Philippine Heritage Month,

an online exhibit of multimedia works on Philippine living heritage themes from June 1 to July 31, 2022.

This event aims to explore the unique qualities, build an inventory, of Philippine living heritage in Canada,

encourage art creation, and an appreciation on how art can engage the community and the exploration of heritage.

This is a wonderful opportunity to further artistic practice, promote Philippine culture, and showcase original works to the public. This event also aims to initiate important conversations on lived experiences,

facilitating a culture of understanding, empowerment and equity.

The Filipino in Me - Insights into Living Heritage is presented with the support of Canadian Heritage,

and in partnership with the Edmonton Philippine International Centre (EPIC).
